My daughters Deeksha and Aadhvika reflected upon this blog when I was explaining the context last night. Deeksha said, ‘I experience this every time when I disturb mummy while she is busy and you while you were sleeping’ . I am glad they she spotted rightly and she received many upper cuts, left cuts from me and my wife and especially from me during weekend afternoon naps. But the little one always gets a bear hug as she is too small to bear the cuts and hooks. Tried to seemingly suggest her like the mother Tiger but she is always jealous of the little one getting the bear hug no matter what she does. Parenting is a skill for both wild and us and I guess wild does it more naturally than us. As usual the blog reflects something in us and pictures are so near to a live experience. Thank you and expecting more thrills are on the cards in the upcoming episodes.
I guessed this episode was about a bear.. When I read along, I did see a bear photo and was kind of happy that I guessed right, the twist was the sloth bear was just a passerby in this episode. The real story about Shakti the tigeress and her cubs was enchanting and needless to say with the kind of ammunition(Nikon camera) and your zeal, outstanding pictures. What a way to celebrate vthe 30th episode! A tribute to a Mother. Enjoyed thoroughly!
Ha ha ... the title makes a lot of difference , it leads and misleads as well , essentially a title should draw the reader in ... thats the "headline" so shd be interesting enough ... i concocted of it from Sports and Boxing ... but you realted it to a "Bear" , interesting
Back to the wild after enjoying vibrant Al Rihla..!! But ‘Upper cut, left hook and bear hug’ made this transition swiftly.. It's been a journey Infocus has taken through with all the 30 articles right from getting introduced to the fascinating wild life & sports till making us fall in love with it and willing to explore more.. The best part is it always comes with the life stories of unexplored forms be it ‘Kill or not to kill’; ‘Babies day out’ or ‘It's my life’ and likewise, episodes that give an experience of a new aspect in every read... This beautiful piece of cuddling mother-daughter and the natural way of loving her cubs is again an example as always surprising how stories are everywhere if one has an art to observe-absorb and wonderfully narrate to make others take through the virtual experience of it..
Sir, Amazing Photographs and beautifully expressed mother and daughter love. Also rightly said Mother love, training and confidence building are critical in a child development.
Sir, it’s captivating how InFocus has a uniquely different screenplay every time despite a common subject ‘Wild’ and its main protagonist ‘Tiger’. Congratulations on your 30th episode.
Congratulations for super 30 episodes! Awesome click one after one and well narrated… fall in love with the moment… they way you have described Mothers’ love, investment, training, testing etc., lots of take and overall enjoyed reading… very aptly said Life is a journey & not a destination and of course “we all live once” so why not…
Life is much simpler if seen thru a different lens, it is we who complicate it by setting wrong expectations out of it and being unhappy most times at those not meeting
Performance expectations are different, after all we all need to excel as we have only 1 life
Thanks, No 30 arrived soon , hope we hit a half century soon as well
Sir, beautiful pictures!!! No words to express the mother's love, we have to feel it .. also the life lessons taught my mother will never forgotten.. thanks for sharing sir!!!
I’m touched by the story of the relationship between mother and daughter you described. This is an inspiring read. There is a lot to learn about wildlife and nature. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from your lively stories! 🙂👍
U r being generous to me , but surely wild has many lessons for all of us , depends upon what we want to take from it , different people can see it differently... perspective of all can be different. Thanks again
Such a beautiful coverage Parag. Fantastic clicks too….
Thanks a lot, Ashok
